Installer Pre-Brief Checklist
Three documents before the quote.
Send these three items and we issue a fee proposal within 24 to 48 hours, with a confirmed site visit date the same week. Most installers carry all three as standard.

Mounting system specification
The mounting manufacturer specification sheet showing uplift, static, and snow load values, plus the fixing method (penetrating screws, clamps, ballast, or hybrid). Confirms what loads the roof needs to accept and whether the warranty constraints permit penetrating fixings. A link to the manufacturer's online datasheet for the specific rail or clamp model is acceptable.
Panel datasheet
The panel manufacturer datasheet showing module dimensions, weight in kg, glass thickness, frame profile, and electrical characteristics. Gives us per-panel mass and wind-coefficient inputs for BRE Digest 489 calculations. Manufacturer PDF preferred; a make and model number alone is enough to start.
Helpful, not required
The items below are not mandatory. Where available they sharpen the report and reduce the engineering assumptions we have to make. If you have none of them, that is fine: we work to the brief you provide.

Fee proposal 24 to 48 hours
Fixed fee under ACE Professional Services Agreement 2017.
Site visit on instruction
Surveyor from the UK hub network scheduled within the week.
Report 48 hours from site visit
Engineer-signed, Eurocode-anchored, issued with invoice.
