MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certification is required for solar PV installers and products to participate in UK government incentive schemes and to issue documentation required by lenders, DNOs, and export tariff administrators. Certified installations must meet all requirements of the relevant MIS standards, including MIS 3002 V6.0 for solar PV.
For commercial solar PV clients, MCS-certified installations provide assurance that the system has been designed, installed, and documented to a defined standard. Our independent structural sign-off is accepted by MCS certification bodies as evidence of structural adequacy, forming part of the documentation package required for MCS certificate issuance. We provide the same independent structural assessment for larger commercial and over-50kWp projects that sit outside the MCS scheme.
